21-039 Corps to hold public meeting to gather input for Ice Harbor Master Plan Revision

BURBANK, Wash.– The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Walla Walla District (Corps) has scheduled an open house public meeting on Thursday, July 22 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Ice Harbor Visitor Center in Burbank, Washington. There will be formal presentations at 5 and 6 p.m., and Corps staff will be present to answer questions and provide information.

This meeting is scheduled to provide information and accept comments on the draft Ice Harbor Master Plan and accompanying draft Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) and Environmental Assessment (EA). Please note that access to the Ice Harbor Visitor Center requires a valid government-issued photo I.D. for all adults (e.g., driver’s license, passport).

Those who do not attend the public meeting can still submit comments through July 30. The revised draft Master Plan, draft FONSI, and EA, along with the original 1977 Master Plan and other associated documents, are available on the Corps’ website at https://www.nww.usace.army.mil/locations/district-locks-and-dams/ice-harbor-lock-and-dam/ice-harbor-master-plan/.

All comments received will be considered and become part of the public record.
