Umatilla, Oregon – Walla Walla District officials have announced that McNary’s Pacific Salmon Visitor Information Center is open to the public after its closure on January 18 for maintenance work at the facility.

The Visitor Center will be open Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Visitor Center hours will extend to seven days a week between the months of May and September from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Visitor Center offers audio-visual displays, programs and brochures about salmon, hydropower, and about the Juvenile Fish Facility. Visitors will have access to restrooms and drinking water during their visit.
