  • 20-055 Corps issues revised Project Master Plans for Little Goose and Lower Monumental

    SNAKE RIVER, Wash. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Walla Walla District has issued revised Master Plans for the Lower Monumental and Little Goose Projects. Each Master Plan includes a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) and an Environmental Assessment (EA). The Master Plans were updated because the original Master Plans were more than 50 years old and there have been changes in policy and management strategies over that time.
  • 20-054 Reservoir Road at Mill Creek reopens

    Walla Walla, Wash. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Walla Walla District has reopened vehicle access on Reservoir Road, leading to Bennington Lake, according to operations officials at Mill Creek Dam and Bennington Lake, located on the east side of Walla Walla, Washington.
  • 20-053 Anglers and recreationalists beware of fluctuating water levels on the Clearwater and the North Fork of the Clearwater

    Ahsahka, Idaho. – Dworshak Dam powerhouse will conduct testing on one of their hydropower units on October 13 and 14, from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. The test will increase the flow from the powerhouse, resulting in fluctuations of water depth and flow on both the Clearwater and the North Fork of the Clearwater rivers.
