The Walla Walla District of the Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) proposes to construct and test four low-flow weir structures on Mill Creek near Rooks Park, located east of Walla Walla, Wash. These weirs would improve the fish passage conditions in the creek, especially during low flows.

An Environmental Assessment (EA) and draft Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) has been prepared to analyze the environmental impacts of this proposed action. The Corps is accepting public comments on the EA and draft FONSI until Sept. 16, 2011. Please submit your comments to the following address.
