Environmental Assessment (EA) and draft Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI)

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District (Corps) proposes to construct new office and maintenance buildings, along with undertaking other support activities including the installation of new utilities, landscaping, new parking area, new vehicle shed, new public restroom and new footbridge.

The Corps will wait for completion of a scheduled 15-day public review period being provided for the EA and draft FONSI. If no comments are received during this time that are determined to be of a significant nature, the Corps will finalize the EA and sign the FONSI as its National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance for the Mill Creek Flood Control Project New Office and Maintenance Buildings. This will conclude the Corps' review requirements under NEPA.
