Total cost of surveys during fiscal year was $248,275. That sum was spent for flood control studies ($199,727); cooperative studies with the Soil Conservation Service and the Bureau of Reclamation ($33,548); and cooperative studies with the U.S. Forest Service and the Bureau of Outdoor Recreation in connection with National Wild and Scenic Rivers System ($15,000).
