Flood Control Work Under Special Authorization

Emergency flood control activities-repair, flood fighting, and rescue work (PL 99, 84th Congress, and antecedent legislation):
There were no Federal costs for this fiscal year.
Emergency Bank Protection (Section 14, Flood Control Act of 1946, PL 526, 79th Congress):
Fiscal year costs were $58,040 for continuation of three feasibility studies: 1) The Snake River upstream of Blackfoot, Idaho ($17,718); 2) Fort Hall Landmark, Idaho ($13,234); 3) Willow Creek downstream of LaCrosse, Washington ($8,988); and 4) Little Weiser River, near Gladhart Lane, Idaho ($18,100).
Snagging and clearing of navigable streams and tributaries in interest of flood control (Section 208, Flood Control Act of 1954, PL 780, 83rd Congress):
There were no Federal costs for this fiscal year.
Project modification for the Improvement of the Environment pursuant to Section 1135(b), PL 99-362, as amended:
Fiscal year costs were $260,655 for continuation of five studies and one new study (Soldier Creek, Restoration, Idaho) and initial appraisal and coordination funds, including: 1) Initial Appraisals, General ($5,006); Coordination Account ($3,931); Catherine Creek, Oregon ($29,409); Jackson Hole, Wyoming ($1,620); Little Weiser River, Idaho ($97,597); Portneuf River, Pocatello, Idaho ($57,752); Soldier Creek, Idaho ($6,879); and Walla Walla River, Oregon/Washington ($58,461).
