Inspection of Completed Flood Control Projects
Federal law requires local interests to maintain and operate completed local protection projects in accordance with
regulations prescribed by the Secretary of Army. Inspections were made to determine the extent of compliance and to
advise local interests, as necessary, of measures required to correct deficiencies (see table
39-I for inspections made during the fiscal year).
Fiscal year costs were $34,651. Total costs to September 30, 1996 were $2,835,656.
