General

Leased to the State of Washington, this 143-acre park is located on an island created by the lake. All park facilities are located on the island except for the park maintenance facilities. Approximately 30 acres are developed as a 66-space campground, irrigated lawn and shade trees, four courtesy docks, a 4-lane boat launching ramp with handling docks, paved parking for 189 vehicles, a visitor center, day-use area with developed beach, four comfort stations with changehouse, showers, food concessions, sanitary dump station, and marine pumpout. Visitation to the park in Fiscal Year 1996 was 39,622 visitor days. The lake level is 733 to 738. The old river elevation in this area is 685.
