Lake West Overview
The Natural Resources Managers at the Lower Granite Natural Resources Office and the Ice Harbor Natural Resources Office would like to invite you to visit any of the recreation areas that our staffs manage on Lake West—all on the Lower Snake River. Our recreation areas offer a wide array of outdoor activities. While visiting, please enjoy opportunities such as camping, picnicking, wildlife viewing, and boating, as well as hunting deer, upland game birds, and waterfowl. 

Public Lands
Lake West is known for the scenic confluence of the Snake and Palouse Rivers, the historic Mullan Road and Lyons Ferry crossing, and Joso Railroad Bridge. The Lower Granite Natural Resources Office manages the parks and habitat management units from Little Goose Dam downstream to Lyons Ferry Marina. Downstream of the marina, Ice Harbor Natural Resources Management Office takes over operation of Corps recreation areas. 

Due to increased risk of wildfires during the summer months, a seasonal ban on wood fires exists from June 10 through October 10. Charcoal and propane fires are welcome year-round.
