KAHLOTUS, Wash. -- Public crossing at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Lower Monumental Lock and Dam will be closed from December 1 - 2 for maintenance.
During this period, all vehicular and pedestrian traffic across the dam will be suspended to ensure the safety of the public and work crews. USACE encourages travelers to plan alternative routes during this time.
Normal crossing hours are once an hour, on the half-hour, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday – federal holidays excluded. Public dam crossings are also available at Lower Granite Lock and Dam and Little Goose Lock and Dam.
