AHSAHKA, Idaho -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has reopened several recreation areas at Dworshak Dam and Reservoir that were temporarily closed for public safety following recent flooding and mudslides.
The following sites have been assessed and are now open:
- Merry's Bay Day Use Area
- Dent Acres Recreation Area
- Bruce’s Eddy Recreation Area
As previously scheduled, Dent Campground and the Dent Group Camping Area will open for the season on April 12.
Reservations are required for all campsites and can be made at Recreation.gov, through the Recreation.gov mobile app, or by calling 877-444-6777.
