FORT HALL, Idaho – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Walla Walla District invites public comments on a draft Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) and Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Fort Hall, Idaho, Wastewater Improvements Project. Comments are due to the Corps no later than Thursday, July 26, 2018.
The Corps proposes to assist the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes to replace a wastewater pump station and 1,600 feet of associated sewer lines on the Fort Hall Reservation, Idaho, and evaluates the environmental effects of the proposed action. The pump station is reaching the end of its design life, with observed mechanical and structural deficiencies. Corps participation in this project is authorized under Section 595 of the Water Resources Development Act of 1999.

Written comments will be accepted July 13-26, 2018. All information and comments received will become part of the public record. Public comments must be electronically submitted or postmarked no later than Thursday, July 26, 2018. Comments may also be sent by email to NEPANWW@usace.army.mil
