Preparing the Spillway Weir for movement
Workers at Swan Island near Portland, Ore., prepare the spillway weir Feb. 16 for movement up the lower Columbia River to Ice Harbor Lock and Dam on the lower Snake River. It took three days to transport the five-story-tall, 1.7 million-pound fish passage structure.
