Federal Cost-Share Support for Invasive Mussels Prevention and Elimination

“The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District (USACE), invites your comments on the draft Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) and Programmatic Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Federal Cost-Share Support for Invasive Mussels Prevention and Elimination Efforts.

The EA describes the USACE plans to establish a federal cost-share framework to support rapid response, prevention, and active management of invasive mussels within the Columbia River Basin. The framework is intended to strengthen the capacity of non-federal partners to prevent introductions and contain incipient infestations of zebra, quagga, and golden mussels.
