STARBUCK, Wash. – Travelers using the public crossing at Little Goose Lock and Dam may experience delays of 2 to 3 hours until May 2 due to extensive equipment replacement efforts.

These delays are necessary to facilitate the replacement of the trash rack crane, a critical component of dam operations. Please note that these delays are expected to occur during normal public crossing hours, but local landowners may also experience these delays during non-business hours. Affected individuals should plan journeys accordingly and allow for additional travel time.

Normal crossing hours are once an hour, on the half-hour, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Public dam crossings are also available at Lower Granite Lock and Dam and Lower Monumental Lock and Dam.

For more information about dam crossing visit https://www.nww.usace.army.mil/Missions/Recreation/Dam-Crossing/ or call 1-888-DAM-INFO (1-888-326-4636).
