Nisqually John Landing Boat Dock to be inaccessible during gangway repairs

U.S. ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS WALLA WALLA DISTRICT
Published July 26, 2024

The Nisqually John Landing boat dock will be inaccessible from land starting Monday, July 29, while the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District performs essential repairs to the gangway. Repairs are expected to be completed by Thursday, Aug. 1.

The boat ramp will remain open during this period, allowing boaters access from the water. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to improve the safety and functionality of the dock.

Gangways are used to connect a dock to the shoreline. They provide a walkway over longer distances to allow easier access to a dock.

Nisqually John Landing is located 15 miles west of Clarkston, Washington, on Highway 193/Wawawai River Road. Boat launching facilities at Blyton Landing and Wawawai Landing are still open.
