Public crossing closure at Little Goose Dam

Public crossing at Little Goose Lock and Dam have reopened.

Public crossing at Little Goose Lock and Dam will be closed effective immediately and until further notice due to an issue with the upper bascule bridge.

At present, the bascule bridge remains fully open to prioritize barge traffic along the waterway. Maintenance crews are working to troubleshoot and resolve the issue. An update will be provided once the situation is resolved and public crossing can resume.

Normal crossing hours are once an hour, on the half-hour, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Public dam crossings are also available at Lower Granite Lock and Dam and Lower Monumental Lock and Dam.
