AHSAHKA, Idaho -- Natural Resource Management at Dworshak Dam is looking for volunteers for the summer season.
Several positions are open, including campground hosts at Dent Acres Campground and Visitor Center, and day use maintenance volunteers for Dworshak Dam.
Volunteers are provided an RV site with full hookups and propane along with other amenities in exchange for 25 or more volunteer hours a week. Weekend and holiday work may be required. Volunteers must provide their own RV or lodging accommodations. Individuals and/or couples are welcome to apply. Schedules vary depending on location of volunteer site. All applicants must pass a background check.
Volunteers are essential to helping USACE complete its missions, preserve the beauty of USACE parks and public lands. We welcome volunteers of all ages and abilities. Those under 18 years of age may volunteer with official, signed permission of a parent or guardian. Daily tasks may include customer service, assisting visitors, cleaning sites and facilities, waste management, groundskeeping work, and other assigned tasks.
