USACE invites public comments on Owyhee River Aquatic Ecosystem Restoration report

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District invites your comments regarding the Owyhee River Aquatic Ecosystem Restoration draft feasibility report with environmental assessment.

The project aims to improve aquatic, wetland and riparian habitats along the Owyhee River within the Duck Valley Indian Reservation for native fish and wildlife species.

USACE in partnership with the non-federal sponsor, the Shoshone-Paiute Tribe, has tentatively selected a plan that meets the project’s goals. It can be viewed here: https://www.nww.usace.army.mil/missions/projects/owyhee-206/

Public comments will be accepted from March 10 - April 10. These comments will be incorporated into the recommended plan, where appropriate, and used to finalize the report.
