Fencing to be installed at McNary Levee pump stations

Beginning the week of May 19, NorthBank Civil and Marine, Inc., a contractor working with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District will install security fencing around Pump Stations 12-1 and 12-1A near A Street in Pasco.

Once the fencing is complete, the gravel roadway between the pump stations on the land side will be closed to the public - the paved levee roadway will remain open.

The work is part of the larger McNary Levee Drainage Pump Station project and will improve security and safety at the site.
