MILTON-FREEWATER, Ore. –  The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Walla Walla District (Corps), invites public comments on the draft Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) and Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Milton-Freewater Nursery Bridge Drop Structure repair project. 

The Corps proposes to repair high-flow scouring on the downstream gabions and riprap of the Nursery Bridge Drop Structure in the Walla Walla River located in Milton Freewater, Oregon. Construction is slated to begin in July 2016.

The public comment period will be from April 4 through May 4, 2016.  E-mail comments to: NEPANWW@usace.army.mil or submit comments via U.S. Postal Service to:
