AHSAHKA, Idaho – As the weather warms up, Dworshak Dam would like to make a few announcements concerning Dent Acres Recreation Area.
First, the boat ramp will be without a dock to launch from between Thursday, March 28 to Monday, April 1. This will allow the floating dock to be moved from the lower section to the upper section of the boat ramp to accommodate increasing reservoir levels.
Dent Campground and Dent Group Camping Area will be open for the season on April 10. However, both will be closed for a paving project for the month of August and September. The boat ramp should remain open during this time.
Reservations for the camping areas are required and can be made by visiting the Recreation.gov website or app, or by calling 208-877-444-6777.
