17-002 Riparian habitat development requires temporary closures at Rice Bar, Central Ferry HMUs

LOWER SNAKE RIVER, Wash. – Riparian habitat development to begin Jan. 9 at Rice Bar and Central Ferry habitat management units (HMUs) on the lower Snake River will require temporary closures in work areas and where equipment is stored, according to U.S. Army Corps of Engineers operations officials.

17-001 Bridge access to Little Goose Dam’s fishing wall, day-use area to temporarily close Jan. 5-7

STARBUCK, Wash. – Access to Little Goose Lock and Dam’s tailrace fishing wall and day-use area will be temporarily closed Jan. 5-7, according to operations officials at the dam. The bascule bridge crossing the downstream navigation lock approach will be inaccessible during those days to accommodate critical lock gate work.
