14-097 Rainstorms likely to increase Mill Creek flows; Corps encourages seasonal flood awareness

WALLA WALLA, Wash. – Mill Creek flows through Walla Walla are expected to increase significantly as a result of a storm system moving through the Pacific Northwest over the weekend. Although flow levels are anticipated to remain well below flood stage, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers staff advise people to use caution around the cold, fast-moving water in Mill Creek and other rivers, streams and creeks throughout the region.

14-096 Dworshak discharge flows to fluctuate Thursday

AHSAHKA, Idaho -- Water discharge from Dworshak Dam near Orofino, Idaho, will temporarily fluctuate on Thursday, Dec. 18, while U.S. Army Corps of Engineers staff conduct a generator unit test, operations officials at the dam announced today.

KAMIAH, Idaho – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Walla Walla District invites public comments on their Draft Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) for the City of Kamiah, Idaho, Water System Improvements Project. Comments are due no later than Dec. 15.
