  • 22-039 Boise River flows increase June 9 to support salmon migration and with late snow, Lucky Peak will now fill in time for Father’s Day Weekend

BOISE, Idaho – Cool conditions, a slow melt of remaining snowpack, and several precipitation events have added significant water to the Boise River basin allowing Lucky Peak to begin filling to normal full pool (3,055 feet above mean sea level) and the Bureau of Reclamation and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will begin increasing flows downstream of Lucky Peak Dam to provide additional water for salmon migration in the lower Snake and Columbia rivers.
