19-049 Boise River flows to decrease to 6,000 cfs on Friday

BOISE, Idaho -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will reduce flows through the City of Boise by 500 cubic feet per second (cfs) on Friday, May 10. Currently, Boise River flows through town are approximately 6,500 cfs, as measured at the Glenwood Bridge gauge. Flows will reach approximately 6,000 cfs by late-morning on Friday.

19-032 Boise River flows will increase this week

BOISE, Idaho – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Bureau of Reclamation will continue to increase flows through the City of Boise. Currently, Boise River flows through town are about 1,200 cubic-feet-per-second (cfs) and will increase by 500 cfs throughout today, Tuesday, April 9, 2019, as measured at the Glenwood Bridge gauge. Flows will increase by another 500 cfs daily, on Wednesday, April 10, Thursday, April 11, and Friday, April 12, incrementally reaching approximately 3,200 cfs by late-Friday evening.

16-096 Lucky Peak reopens road access to Turner Gulch, Foote Park

BOISE, Idaho – U.S. Army Corps of Engineers staff at Lucky Peak Dam and Lake restored road access to Turner Gulch and Foote Park recreation areas today, after clearing accumulated snow that prevented vehicle traffic.

16-093 Lucky Peak Dam Road temporarily closes until snow is removed

BOISE, Idaho – Lucky Peak Dam Road across the dam is closed until further notice to allow the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to clear several feet of snow blocking the road. The re-opening date is unknown at this time.
