Lower Monumental to suspend public vehicle crossings Oct. 17-28

KAHLOTUS, Wash. – Lower Monumental Lock and Dam will close to public vehicle traffic across the dam Oct. 17-28, operations officials with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Walla Walla District, announced today.

Lower Granite open for vehicle crossings on Columbus Day; Travelers should plan alternate routes across river at ‘LoMo’ and Little Goose dams

WALLA WALLA, Wash. – If your upcoming Columbus Day weekend plans include a road trip to visit family and friends on the opposite side of the lower Snake River, you may want to keep in mind that most U.S. Army Corps of Engineers dams are closed to cross-dam public vehicle traffic on federal holidays, unless otherwise announced.

Transmission line work to affect Little Goose fishing wall access Oct. 13-14

STARBUCK, Wash. – Access to the tailrace fishing wall, recreation area and juvenile fish facility on the downstream side of Little Goose Lock and Dam will temporarily close to the public Oct. 13-14, operations officials with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Walla Walla District, announced today.
