Corps dams closed to vehicle crossings on Nov. 24; Travelers should plan alternate routes across Snake River

Rangers offer guided hikes through McNary Wildlife Area Nov. 25-26

Lower Granite navigation lock schedules five-hour closure to access electrical equipment

POMEROY, Wash. – Lower Granite Dam’s navigation lock, located at Snake River Mile 107.5 near Pomeroy, Wash., will close to all river traffic for five hours on Tuesday, Nov. 15, from noon to 5 p.m., according to operations officials with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Walla Walla District. McNary navigation lock schedules four-hour closure to replace electrical circuit breaker
