    22-019 Mill Creek to begin refilling Bennington Lake for upcoming recreation season

    WALLA WALLA, Wash. – U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Walla Walla District (USACE) operations staff will begin diverting water from Mill Creek to Bennington Lake early next week in preparation for the upcoming recreation season.

    Starbuck, Wash. – Officials at Little Goose Lock and Dam are closing dam crossings to the public from Monday April 4 to Friday April 8, in order to perform electrical work on top of the dam.

    22-016 Dworshak Dam discharge to vary in remainder of March to support multiple uses

    AHSAHKA, Idaho –Dworshak Dam is currently discharging 10,500 cubic feet per second (cfs) to meet end of month flood control targets. Discharges will remain steady through the rest of the week before slowly decreasing over the weekend, reaching around 4,600 cfs by Monday.

    22-014 Dworshak Dam releases to slowly increase in the month of March

    AHSAHKA, Idaho –Dworshak Dam will be slowly increasing releases this month from 1,700 cubic feet per second (cfs) to the approximate range of 6,000-10,000 cfs. Operations at Dworshak will change the height of the Clearwater River downstream of the dam by approximately 1.5 feet, gradually, across a two-week period.

    BURBANK, Wash. – The US Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District has completed assembly on the second of three new advanced-designed hydroelectric turbines and begun its installation at Ice Harbor Lock and Dam.

    Lewiston, Idaho. – The Lower Granite Natural Resources Management Office, part of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Walla Walla District, will be closing sections of the Lewiston Levee Trail between Tuesday, Feb. 22 and Thursday Feb. 24 for hazard tree removal.
