  • Boise River and Lucky Peak Lake levels may go up or down during coming week

    BOISE, Idaho – Boise River and Lucky Peak lake levels may increase or decrease during the next week or later as reservoir operators manage for a balance between refill operations and flood risk management. Lucky Peak Dam and Lake has sufficient capacity for anticipated inflows at this time.
  • Corps seeks trail work volunteers at Mill Creek Storage Dam and Bennington Lake on National Trails Day on Saturday

    WALLA WALLA, Wash. – The Walla Walla District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is seeking volunteers to repair the Whitetail Trail near Mill Creek Storage Dam on Saturday, June 4, as part the Corps’ support for National Trails Day on that day. The American Hiking Society's National Trails Day® is held the first Saturday of every June.

    WALLA WALLA, Wash. – With more than 250 miles of managed trails to explore in the Walla Walla District, outdoor recreation enthusiasts can find plenty of places to celebrate National Trails Day on June 4, according to U.S. Army Corps of Engineers recreation officials.
  • Dworshak Dam Visitor Center hosts “Log Drive Day” activities

    AHSAHKA, Idaho – Dworshak Dam Visitor Center staff invites the public to attend a “Log Drive Day” event on Sunday, June 12, at the visitor center theater, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers officials at the dam announced today.
  • Corps begins work to repair flood-damaged John Dodge Levee

    JACKSON, Wyo. – U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District, personnel began emergency repairs on another levee section within the Jackson Hole Levee Project, a system of many levee sections that provides flood-risk management benefits to communities along the upper Snake River near Jackson, Wyoming.
