Dworshak Dam Increases Releases for Flood Risk Management

AHSAHKA, Idaho – Dworshak Dam is increasing flood risk management releases from approximately 12,900 cubic feet per second (cfs) to 14,900 cfs. This is necessary to manage space for the upcoming spring runoff due to higher-than-average inflows and a high reservoir level.

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to manage nuisance wildlife on Lewiston Levee

CLARKSTON, Wash. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Walla Walla District, in collaboration with the Idaho Department of Fish and Game, has contracted with the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service to begin control measures for burrowing rodents and other nuisance wildlife along the Lewiston Levee.
