The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Bureau of Reclamation will begin lowering the pool elevation of Lucky Peak Reservoir on August 18th, 2019. The lowering of Lucky Peak Reservoir facilitates required maintenance of the clamshell outlet gates at Arrowrock Dam and follows a typical end of season reservoir drawdown for irrigation as experienced in prior years. For instance, Lucky Peak Reservoir pool began lowering last year on August 14, 2018. This is considered minor maintenance and does not present a risk to the public but is necessary for operations at Arrowrock reservoir.
