The Walla Walla District operates 37 recreation areas that include visitor centers, campgrounds, picnic areas, playgrounds, beaches, marinas, boat launches, day-use parks and nature trails. There are also concession areas and more than 30 recreation areas operated by other government or private agencies at our lakes.
Each year, Walla Walla District operating projects host nearly 8 million visitors who come to enjoy the many recreational opportunities available at our rivers and lakes. Whether it is fishing, camping, boating, picnicking, swimming, sight-seeing, bird watching, hunting or a variety of other recreation activities, Walla Walla District has it all!
