Port of Umatilla provides tree maintenance, gravel, playgrounds for real estate contract transaction

WALLA WALLA, Wash. – The Port of Umatilla paid $460,000 of in-kind services to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Walla Walla District for a real estate contract transaction. This is one of the largest in-kind consideration agreements the district has ever worked.

USACE awards Russell Creek rehabilitation and improvement contract

WALLA WALLA, Wash. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District has awarded a $1.9 million contract to Northbank Civil & Marine, Inc. to conduct a rehabilitation and improvement project on Russell Creek Canal, part of the Mill Creek Flood Control Project near Walla Walla, Washington.

21-007 Maintenance building upgrades to result in parking lot closure at Mill Creek

Walla Walla, WA -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Walla Walla District (Corps) will be trenching a septic line for the new maintenance building near the Mill Creek office beginning tomorrow, March 3. This work will result in the closure of the parking lot and road to the Mill Creek Office, March 3 and 4.

19-025 Corps covers fish-counting at dams; new contractor slated for June arrival

COLUMBIA & SNAKE RIVERS, Wash. & Ore. – Adult salmon passing through U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) fish ladders on the Columbia and Snake rivers this spring will be counted and recorded, but web-posting of some data will be delayed because of a gap in the federal contract that provides fish-counting services.
